So, I feel as though the penalty system for missing trades is a little lenient. That's why I've thought of a (hopefully) better way to deal with this issue. I'm REALLY looking for feedback on this, feel free to express your opinion!
What I want to start doing is keeping record of who completes their trades, who usually has to drop out, and who straight up doesn't do them. Strikes will be given to any participant who does not complete their trade. This record would obviously not be posted for everyone to see, of course.
Here's a little more explanation to make it easier to understand:

:bulletblack:If you straight up do not do your trade, AND you do not make any sort of attempt to tell me so, you will be banned from the trade for the next month. You will also get a strike on your record.
:bulletblack:If you can't complete the trade, but you let me know at least three days before the end of the trade round, you will be banned from the next trade. However, you will not get a strike on your record. (NOTE, if you frequently need to drop out - 3 rounds in a row or more - I will give you a strike)
:bulletblack:A better alternative to dropping out is asking for a five day extension! I will allow it, but if you don't finish in those five extra days, it will come to the same consequences anyways. Also, you should have time to sign up for the next trade round.
:bulletblack:Of course, completing your trades will not result in any sort of penalty, but I am thinking of ways to reward clean records!
:bulletblack:If you signed up to do a replacement trade, and you don not finish it by the allotted time, it will be the same consequence as a regular trade, but instead of being banned from the trade you will be banned from doing replacements. (Depending on if you tell me that you won't get it done or not.)

Banning will be following the three strike policy. Here's how it will work:

:bulletblack:1st offense: You will be banned from the next month's trade round, and you will receive a strike on your record.
:bulletblack:2nd offense: You will be banned from the next two month's trade rounds, and you will receive a strike on your record.
:bulletblack:3rd offense: You will be kicked out of the group completely, and blacklisted. (Three strikes, YER OUT!)
It may seem harsh, but it would actually take a long time to get totally kicked out.

If I were to implement this, it would start for the next month's round, but everyone's records will start clean. Same with the replacement trades. (Though, if you don't do your trade for this round, you'll still be banned. You just won't get a strike.)

Is there anything I need to explain better? Anything that you think could be better? Do you think this whole idea is stupid?! Let me know in the comments! I want to hear what you guys think too!
